Spread Collar Japanese Chambray Shirt
When we opened our doors in 1963 the clothing industry was much different. Instead of stocking a mixture of name-brands and perhaps a garment or two bearing your label, the selection was, more often than not, created through a time-consuming process of sourcing fabrics and factories to craft each and every product. Back then, the resulting collections were not only unique in design and manufacture, they were a glimpse into the vision of what we wanted as we built our business and served our customers.
Partnering with a small factory in Honduras, filled with dedicated craftsmen (many of whom have been in the garment industry for decades) and sourcing from some of the best fabric mills in the world, we have created a core shirt program that mirrors our desire to provide an incredible value in each and every item. At the root, a garment we are proud to call exclusively, H. Stockton.
We love the vibe of this chambray shirt. Woven in Japan, the rich, saturated color and the texture of this cloth is out of this world. Our goal was to make a shirt that could fire on all cylinders, from dressed up with a knit tie and soft-shouldered coat, to an impromptu game of football in the park and anywhere in between. It's possibly the perfect weekend shirt, but could easily work into your office attire on a casual Friday or two.
The best part is how well it's going to break in after you put it through the paces, after all, the best garments are those meant to be worn.
