Alan Paine for H. Stockton
Charcoal Merino Wool V-Neck Sweater
Alan Paine started manufacturing knitwear in England back in 1907. Purveyors of classic British styles, each piece of knitwear is fully fashioned, knitted to shape on the knitting machine and not cut and sewn, as well as hand-finished. Finally, the main pressure points of each piece is then reinforced, yielding a great fit and feel that lasts the wearer for years.
Merino wool v-neck sweaters are a quintessential wardrobe staple for the Fall and Winter months, easily performing a multitude of tasks with ease. They look great over a sport shirt and under a coat for an additional layer of insulation, while also helping to bring down the formality a touch when paired with a coat and tie. The fine, pure merino yarn is equal parts luxurious and substantial, without being too heavy; the perfect weight for a climate like Atlanta.
We really like how these sweaters bring a little British influence to our collection and know you'll be pleasantly surprised just how often you reach for them when the weather gets chilly.
Tailored Fit - Cut on the trimmer side, we recommend sizing up if a more traditional fit is desired (Coat size US42 = Sweater size US44). Sized in US/UK chest sizes.
